Outline

What Is a Volcano?

  • volcano eruptions are one of the most dangerous events on Earth
  • lava that may be released during volcanic activity it starts to build up the Earth's surface
  • Earth's activity is a constructive force
    • it always adds new rock to the existing area, this may also form new islands

Location of Volcanoes

  • volcanoes like to form in many places
    • they may even form underwater
